  • Are childcare subsidies accepted?

    Yes, but parents must provide a certificate of authorization and are responsible for any fees or camp registrations not covered by their agency

  • How do I register and what are the costs?

    Register via the Eleyo portal with a non-refundable annual fee. Tuition is paid monthly by the 1st; a sibling discount and employee discount are available.

  • How do I withdraw my child?

    Provide 10 business days' written notice to avoid being charged for the following month.

  • How do non-school days and week camps work?

    Registration opens one month in advance on Eleyo for an additional fee. Unlike regular days, parents must provide lunch for these full-day sessions.

  • What activities are provided?

    Daily schedules include breakfast, snacks, homework time, physical activity, and STEAM enrichment like knitting, sewing, painting, science experiments.

  • What are the health and safety policies?

    • Nut-Free: All sites are nut-free facilities.
    • Illness: Students must be fever-free for 48 hours (without medication) before returning.
    • Medication: Requires a physician-signed Medication Administration Release and original pharmacy packaging.
  • What are the hours of operation?

    • Regular Days: 6:30 AM until school starts; school release until 6:00 PM.
    • Camps/Break Days: 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM at select locations.
  • What happens if I am late for pick-up?

    Late fees are automatically charged for every minute after 6:00PM. The San Jose Police Department will contacted if a child is not picked up by 7:00 PM.

  • What meals are included?

    BASE provides breakfast and an afternoon snack.
