Before & After School Enrichment

Program Overview

The Oak Grove School District’s Before and After School Enrichment (BASE) program is a parent-paid program that bridges the gap between home and school. We provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for TK–6th grade students at select school sites.

Operating across six district school sites, BASE fosters a cooperative environment built on equity, creativity, and mutual respect. We provide before and afterschool care in group settings maintaining a staff-to-student ratio that typically ranges from 1:16.

Our Services Include:

  • Convenient Hours: Care is available every regular school day from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm.
  • Daily Enrichment: Our structured schedule includes breakfast/snacks, dedicated homework support, physical activity, and STEAM-based projects.
  • Safe Transitions: To ensure safety for our youngest learners, BASE staff members personally escort TK and Kindergarten students to and from their classrooms.
  • Holiday & Break Care: During non-school days and breaks, we offer full-day thematic programming from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm at select locations for an additional fee.
